On October 30th,the first intellectual property alliance of automotive industry was founded with Iptalent as co-founder. Officials from the State Intellectual Property Office of China,Administrative committee of Z-Park and Beijing Intellectual Property Office attended the founding ceremony.

The alliance had 23 starting members including famous Chinese automotive manufacturers such as Foton, Greatwall, Changan, and Geely who had acquired Volvo.

Z-Park is the short for Zhongguancun Science Park, also known as Zhongguancun Naitonal Innovation Demonstration Zone. Within Chinese government system, the executive level of the Administrative committee of Z-park, as a government agency, is equivalent to vice province or vice national ministry. Z-Park is responsible for implementation of the science and technology development strategy of China.
